A function that allows you to return to the previous reading point.
It is often required to return, not to a specific page, but to the previous reading point. In the pdfs you will not find this function, so it would be useful to implement it.

Closing and reopening a document is not necessarily this case. One case is, for example, when you go to the references of a document, check one of them, and then want to return exactly to the point where you had stopped reading.

Please provide more context to your suggestion. Do you mean returning to the last position after closing a file and opening it again?
