I'm using ONLYOFFICE ver. 9.2.1.43 on an Ubuntu 24.04 machine.

Unfortunately, there is no option to disable ‘spelling language detection’.

I am working on a presentation. The ‘document language’ is ‘English’ and all texts should also be in English. However, I am using a German keyboard, so when I type, the ‘text language’ keeps changing to German. I can set the keyboard layout to English, which keeps the text in English, but then I cannot use my keyboard. Why can’t I set the ‘document language’ to take precedence over the ‘keyboard language’ for spell checking?

After some research, I found out that there used to be a ‘spelling language detection’ option. Unfortunately, I cannot find this option under ‘File’ -> ‘Advanced Settings’ -> ‘Proofing’.
