  1. Currently, to create a pdf document from a paper document, you need to scan it into a picture using any relevant external application, and then use the OCR function to convert that picture into a pdf file.

I would very much like create a pdf from onlyoffice the same way I do it from Adobe Acrobat Pro until now: click on a "create from scanner" button, then confirm, and done!

  2. It would be really useful to have a Favorites section in Documents where we could pin frequently used files and folders. This would save time by keeping important items easily accessible instead of having to navigate through multiple folders repeatedly.

  3. It would be nice to be able to upload fonts we use.

On new mobile clients, I can manually add fonts, which is great. But if the client is using the editor app on Linux desktop or mobile, they won't see the fonts they don't have installed.

Given the centralized and room based nature of the whole thing, it would make sense to me to be able to push the fonts out from the DocSpace itself. Or at least keep them in a place where everyone who is Editor or above can easily go get them at the DocSpace.

  4. I suggest the option for Confidential options within the data room folders, or specific documents.

For example, let's say you want to include all related documents in a data room for stage 1 discussions, but you don't want to give them access to some of the documents that are disclosed in stage 2. To keep the whole presentation organised you want all documents in one data room.

To create a separate data room for stage 2 is messy and confusing. I think a better solution is to allow a locked icon to be displayed for documents not accessible for that…

  5. Currently, admins can only create full backup of portal data. I suggest adding a possibility to create partial backups, for instance, backups of certain rooms, folders, etc.

  6. Integrate graphite font technology (used for various fonts like Awami Nastaliq) so that they can reder properly (https://graphite.sil.org/). For browser, desktop, mobile, etc. (Libreoffice & Firefox already have it)

  7. One feature that could be particularly useful for us is the ability to set up a document approval workflow, where different users are assigned roles and documents pass through specific approval stages before final confirmation.

We often deal with scenarios where, for example, a draft contract needs to be reviewed by several team members before being approved by a manager. We manage approvals manually, but a feature allowing us to assign reviewers, define steps, and track approval status would make this process much more efficient and transparent.

Some parts of this might be imitated using forms, but a dedicated approval…
