1. hierarchical “master folders” (parent rooms) + subfolder-level permissions in ONLYOFFICE DocSpace

   We need a clean “start page” structure with a few top-level areas (e.g., Teams, Team Leaders, HR). Inside the “Teams” area, we need to create subfolders for each team and assign different access permissions per subfolder (groups and/or individual users), for example:

   Teams (visible to all team members)

   Team A (only Team A members)

   Team B (only Team B members)

   Employees (team-specific employee folders)

   Team Leaders (only team leaders, or selected leaders)

   Current limitation (from our perspective)
   DocSpace permissions are primarily managed at the room level, which forces us to create many separate rooms to achieve this structure. This makes navigation and administration more complex, especially when we have many teams.

   Proposed improvement (either of the options below would solve the problem)
   Option A – “Parent rooms / master folders”

   Allow a hierarchical room structure where rooms can be grouped under a parent “master” room (collapsible navigation).

   Keep permissions at the room level, but improve organization and reduce clutter on the main Rooms page.

2. workflow approval system

   One feature that could be particularly useful for us is the ability to set up a document approval workflow, where different users are assigned roles and documents pass through specific approval stages before final confirmation.

   We often deal with scenarios where, for example, a draft contract needs to be reviewed by several team members before being approved by a manager. We manage approvals manually, but a feature allowing us to assign reviewers, define steps, and track approval status would make this process much more efficient and transparent.

   Some parts of this might be imitated using forms, but a dedicated approval mechanism is clearly missing.

3. Please add kanban view in onlyoffice

   Please make customizable kanban views in onlyoffice products:

   *A kanban view in docspace or document explorer based on tags or other custom fields would be great for editing stages or any simple workflow.

   *In the Onlyoffice Project module the kanban view will help better track tasks states for better global project execution.
