    Hi Constantine. Thanks for your message. The most obvious example is firefox. Write click on a tab and choose "Duplicate Tab" from the menu. A number of pdf readers have this, for example pdf xchange and master pdf editor offer that (see, e.g., https://code-industry.net/what-is-new-in-master-pdf-editor-5/ version 5.9.50 "Extended tab context menu. Now it is possible to duplicate and rename the tab.")

    Split view is a good alternative, but limited to 2 views and takes screen space.
