Multiple selection of lines or small segments of a single line
I would like you to add the option to select multiple characters or lines separately with Ctrl + left click in Linux, as this would make it more efficient to select multiple lines in a document.

Just to clarify: do you refer to selecting several lines/characters independently, i.e. in different positions?
