Give users the ability of full control over the amount of ‘Recent files’
Just recently I've installed the ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors app version 9.1.0.167 on my Desktop PC running OS Windows 10 Pro x64-bit.
For better security and privacy interests, my suggestion is to give the user the ability of full control of managing the amount of 'Recent files' to be stored or not stored at all. This for instance by way of a counter setting ranging from 0 (nothing stored nor to be cleared) to a higher number in steps of e.g. 5 or 10 and so on. Besides better security and privacy, most other "free" (open source included) Document / File processing software applications embed such a feature, to have also the option not to show recent files at all as sort of a default preference.
Thank you for your idea, we need some time to review it.

Adobe Acrobat Reader
Wondershare PDFelement
Foxit PDF Editor (formerly known as Foxit PhantomPDF)
The separate list seems to be related to the 'Save AutoRecover information' feature from ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors, and therefore it does not have to be controlled too.

Can you name a processor that allows such control?
This also rises a concern about files that require restoration, for instance, when the system fails. There is a separate list for such files, is it supposed to be controlled to?
