    Yes, for Desktop Editors under Linux, macOS, Windows.
    In regards to Linux, it's especially important that we can use a template path outside the Ubuntu Snap package (which is read-only), but within allowed security bounds, like in the user's document folder, since snaps are confined and unable to access arbitrary paths.
