Save slide as HD image
There should be a way to save a slide as a large hi-def image (or matching size of the slide). Saving all slides as a folder of low def 720p images is unnecessarily resource consuming and doesn't achieve the goal, esp. if you use the app for image compositing.

Yes both PowerPoint and LibreOffice Impress let you do this. PowerPoint requires a one-time registry edit to unlock the feature. Impress has it natively.

Saving slides as images in 720p is a common practice within most popular office suites. Have you encountered a presentation processor that allows configuring the resolution of slides when saving as an image?
