Adding a surface diagram
The following subtypes of surface diagrams can be distinguished, which can be considered as styles of one type of diagram:
1. A volumetric surface diagram is a standard diagram type.
2. A wire surface diagram is a three—dimensional diagram that is a wireframe and displays only lines.
3. A contour diagram is a diagram representing an overhead view of a surface diagram where the colors represent ranges of values.
4. A contour wire diagram is a diagram representing an overhead view of a surface diagram, but without shaded areas.
