  1. Scrolling has always been stuttery and not smooth on macOS; fixing this as it appears on alternative offuce suites would be greatly desirable. Perhaps this could be added as a toggle-able feature.

  2. The current version has only five shortcuts in the Shortcut toolbar (save, print, quick print, undu, redu). If anyone has some tools that are often required, adding essential tools to the shortcut toolbar is a very time-saving task for anyone.

  3. Please provide more options for find and replace so as to be able to, for example:

    Find and replace all text in red so as to make it white (and thus invisible)

    Word's find and replace, for example, is very featureful to allow various formatting replacements in a large document.

    (still an issue in 9.0 Desktop Editors)

  4. With the introduction of the Modern theme, padding can be excessive on certain UI elements. Particularly in the "Recent Files" pane, the "File name" column is excessively narrow as a result of the excessive padding between "Location" and "Last Opened" column.
    Reducing the padding would give more space for the file names to be visible.

  7. Right (& left?) toolbars should hide when one of the icons is selected, and new options (as icons) regarding the selected icon should appear.

    For example, after you click on the table icon (and a new table panel shows with the all the table settings), the rest of the toolbar should become a table icon shortcut toolbar (eg, to merge/unmerge cells, add/delete 1 column/row, etc.).

    There can be a small arrow below the toolbar to show the hidden icons, (for paragraph, textart, chart, image, ... settings, etc.)

    Perhaps keep the small arrow below to hide/show the whole toolbar?

  8. I am moving from box.com. They have the option of creating box notes.

    These are simple documents with an icon that identifies them as being notes.

    The note editor include basic/simple formatting options. Bold/italic, titles, bullets.

    Perhaps an option is using the well known markdown system/syntax

    Notes are useful for adding quick messages and reminders, e.g. description of folders, when to delete them etc.

    It would be useful to have print available and an option to convert/upgrade a note into a document.

It is very important if the document or sheet has a large size of data on it, especially after you edit some data in the middle of a hundred pages of document or thousands of rows/columns of a sheet. You will want the cursor to be at the last space you closed it last time rather than at the home again.

    I saw it in the forum but was persuaded that it was only happened if the sheet had frozen rows/columns, however, almost 90% of files I have been using do have frozen rows/columns, especially those who are working in…

If a file was used but leaving file opened without further processing for a period of time while doing multiple tasks, both texts and numbers of the whole sheet or document would became blurred in colors. There is no harm to the file which should be simply closed and reopened again to continue to use it.

  11. If I type into a spreadsheet 01/12/2025 it sometimes gets interpreted as 12/01/2025. This behaves differently between my browser and my phone devices.
    A setting so that the web application will know which format the user prefers to input and read dates would be best.

  12. Allow a custom path, where default, empty files templates are looked up. Those are in particular relevant for new.docx , new.xlsx etc.
    This way we can provide our standard default templates to users.

    I can think of the following:

    Prio 1: Look up custom template path specified in OO document editor settings
    Prio 2: Look up fixed custom template path in users documents folder, like a subfolder Onlyoffice-Templates
    Prio 3: Lookup default templates folder

    Higher prio would take precedence and upon lookup would use that one, ar fall back to the next prio.

  15. When I want to print a file with a lot of pages, I want to be able to put 2 pages per side of a sheet, so a total of 4 pages per double-sided sheet at the output of the print (and consequently we go from portrait to landscape format).

  16. Now with the introduction of a diagram viewer I think that OnlyOffice should have a complete editor similar to Microsoft Visio or LibreOffice Draw and this would call many users of these programs and complete the suite.
