  1. Feature: Auto-Open After Export

    Description:
After saving/exporting a document as PDF, automatically open the file with the default PDF viewer. This would provide immediate confirmation that the export was successful and save users from manually navigating to and opening each exported file.

    Suggested Implementation:

Add a checkbox in the "Save As" dialog labeled "Open after export"

Make it a persistent user preference in Settings

Apply to all export formats (PDF, images, etc.)

    Benefit:
Eliminates the manual step of opening exported files, creating a smoother workflow for users who frequently export documents for sharing or review.

  5. I am on the hunt for a note tool that would replace my use of OneNote on both PC and Mobile.
The way I understand it, on PC at least, it could be technically possible to have a view of a document, in which different sections of the document would appear as separate notes, even though for a data storage standpoint, the data is essentially a text document.
The advantage would be to have what looks like a notebook, including notes and a hierarchy within the notebook.
Based on such a principle, this notetaking tool would even be superior to…

  6. By default, the Cambria Math font is used in the equations. Microsoft Office has partially solved the problem: by combining the "Unicode" and "Text" parameters, it is possible to select a different font (but some mathematical characters still remain in Cambria Math).

  10. Currently, to create a pdf document from a paper document, you need to scan it into a picture using any relevant external application, and then use the OCR function to convert that picture into a pdf file.

I would very much like create a pdf from onlyoffice the same way I do it from Adobe Acrobat Pro until now: click on a "create from scanner" button, then confirm, and done!

  12. I use text editors and spreadsheets for world building and writing stories. It ends up being gigantic projects with hundreds of thousand of words, multiple tables, pictures, external links, pictures, etc...

I would love to be able to separate the various parts of the background in multiple documents of different types. Think for world building: a different file for each region or country, another or several other for the different factions, a table for the resources available per region or faction, maybe another for a relationship graph, etc...

Ideally, it would largely resemble the headings list in the left panel,…

  14. The following subtypes of surface diagrams can be distinguished, which can be considered as styles of one type of diagram:
    1. A volumetric surface diagram is a standard diagram type.
    2. A wire surface diagram is a three—dimensional diagram that is a wireframe and displays only lines.
    3. A contour diagram is a diagram representing an overhead view of a surface diagram where the colors represent ranges of values.
    4. A contour wire diagram is a diagram representing an overhead view of a surface diagram, but without shaded areas.

  15. In the ONLYOFFICE PDF editor/reader, scrolling is currently quite limited compared to other readers. I’d like to suggest a set of improvements that would greatly enhance navigation, especially in PDFs, but could also be useful in text and spreadsheet editors:

    Middle-click autoscroll:
Clicking the mouse wheel should activate auto-scroll (with an anchor), letting the user move smoothly up/down/left/right by moving the mouse. This is standard in most PDF readers (browsers, Adobe Acrobat, etc.).

    Adjustable scroll speed:
Add an option in settings to customize how sensitive/fast normal scrolling behaves (with the mouse wheel or trackpad). Long documents benefit a lot from…

  16. I'm using OnlyOffice on a TrueNas instance.

I want to propose being able to set the default layout for when a new document is created.

I found we can replace the new.docx file however this is extremely and overly cumbersome.

An example might be that a user will want every new document to be A4 size with narrow margins and a certain font without having to set it up each time they create a new document.

    Thank you.

  17. I can see that there is no Pivot Analyzer in OnlyOffice spreadsheets, though there are pivot tables but for creating a functional dashboard features like Pivot Analyzer and connecting a slicer with multiple pivot tables just like in Excel, a Pivot Analyzer tab just like in Excel is necessary.

  20. Olá, sou usuário do OnlyOffice a bastante tempo no Linux.
